From CAD to Gold

A scroll-driven 3D story of one gold signet ring, from CAD model to the polished piece, made at my own jewelry workshop.

Built: October 5-19, 2026 (178 commits)

What it is

A scroll-driven 3D story that follows one gold signet ring from CAD model through resin printing, investment casting and quenching to the polished piece, made at my own jewelry workshop.

Who it's for

Clients and anyone curious how jewelry is made.

The problem it solves

Make an invisible, technical process understandable in one scroll.

My role

Solo project: design and development.

Value

It combines my two fields, 3D jewelry and web. It is tuned to run on an integrated laptop GPU, and weak phones get a scroll-scrubbed pre-rendered video instead of the 3D scene.
